“Thanks Eurotech! I bought a 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera ‘garage queen,’ which the great guys at Eurotech have helped me get into full working order. I showed up with a long typed list and Rick actually did NOT look at me like I was crazy. They replaced the windshield washer pump, the fresh air ventilation fan, brake fluid, hood struts, fog light lens, cruise control cable, swapped out the aftermarket steering wheel for the original, and drilled out the locking lugs for which the previous owner had lost the key, etc. After lowering the front suspension the parts for the new A/C arrived. They installed a new Rennaire II system, including upgraded compressor, conversion to modern refrigerant, new barrier hoses throughout, and a modern serpentine evaporator and a ‘desert duty’ front condenser. Once Jeff had all that new gear installed, we found the old condenser fan was shot. Rick installed it and the labor was gratis! Rick had given me a price of ten hours labor for the whole job and stuck to it, even though it probably ran 12-14 hours! That worked great for an hour and then the old A/C blower failed. One more blower later, and a very reasonable 2 hours of labor (I know it took him longer), the A/C was blowing better than new. In the process, somewhere along the line, the thermostat lead was broken. Rick took responsibility for the broken part and replaced the thermostat and switch for free. I also had some wheel spacers installed on the rear. Later, I found the right rear fender rubbing on the tire. Jeff spent two hours raising the rear suspension, which I wanted to do anyway, because it had seemingly sagged over time. Amazingly, labor gratis, again. For the first month of ownership, my car seemed to be in the Eurotech shop more than at home. Yet, with this very substantial amount of work on a very particular 22-year-old car, I have to say that this is a shop that is honest, charges very fairly, does quality work, on time and on budget. They do understand that even folks of average means may like an old classic and want to take care of it well but at reasonable prices. And they are good people.”
