About Porsche Club of America

Pca Logo

Porsche Club of America (PCA) was established in 1955 by Bill Sholar. PCA’s purpose was to serve as an opportunity for Porsche owners to get together socially and share their knowledge about their cars. Sholar’s vision has lived on and for more than 50 years, PCA has been committed to enriching the Porsche ownership experience. Today, there are more than 140,000 members and PCA is still growing strong!

Whether you are interested in the social aspect, technical knowledge and understanding, or have a competitive nature, Porsche Club of America has something for everyone.

Do you own a Porsche? We invite you to join PCA today and be part of a growing family of Porsche owners! You’ll quickly see what is meant when they say, “It’s not just the cars, it’s the people!”

Smoky Mountain Region PCA Autocross

Eurotech Knoxville 6965 Karns Crossing Ln, Knoxville, Tn 37931 865 693 8911

Eurotech Knoxville has been the proud sponsor of the Autocross series for the Smoky Mountain Region Porsche Club in since 2010.

For those of you who are not familiar with what autocross is, it is a sport of trying to navigate your car through a defined course of pylons faster than your competition. Courses are set up using soft orange traffic pylons which will not damage your car. Speeds in Autocross run usually between 40-65 MPH and in second gear. Autocross is a “performance driving event” and a safe way to learn how to drive your car at its limit. You not only learn how to handle your car at speeds that you drive daily but you also:

  • Gain confidence in your driving ability
  • Learn the limits of your car’s brakes
  • Learn correct seating, hand, and feet positions
  • Learn the limits of your car’s tire adhesion
  • Autocross is a social gathering of new and old friends and lots of fun!
